Big Rock

We have some guys working in our yard clearing out a natural area, and they wanted to dig up a stone and move it. I guessed the weight to be between 500-800 lbs, but I think I was way off. I just looked up the density of limestone, and my corrected estimate is 1300-1900 lbs. I am impressed with their tenacity. It took all four of them and a good solid 45 minutes to get it out of the ground and relocated. Later I will post a picture of the rock with some dimensions.

"Natural area"
Surely the natural thing to do would have been to leave the rock where it was.

Re: "Natural area"
It is natural for humans to move rocks.
