Syslog-ng

At work we are using syslog-ng, actually I am promoting it as a solution to a logging problem it nicely solves. However we want the timestamps formatted is a specific way, so I crack open the syslog-ng manual, and find the ts_format() option. Where ts obviously stands for time stamp. The only documentation about it is that it takes the parameter 'iso'.

I was hoping for a little more...

Still I think syslog-ng is an overall win for us, so I will see if I can work around this one minor issue. It is at least open source, so in the worst case I can always make the time stamp what ever I want.
