Ultimate Soreness

I played Ultimate again today, and after missing last week, I was really feeling the pain today. It was also exacerbated by the fact that there were only ten of us total. On a team of 5 players I was able to slack a lot less.

Still it was great fun, and I actually scored a point for my team. That was nice.

Five years ago I started designing an esoteric language called Juggernaut. The idea was that any byte stream was a valid Juggernaut program. After giving my presentation on esoteric languages at work last Friday, I have a new found desire to work on it again. I have made some minor changes, but I think I will overhaul it soon and make some real progress in the future.

I have signed up for guitar lessons, which start next Wednesday, and I am really looking forward to them. I have played the guitar for a while, but I was self-taught, and never really learned the foundation I need to be a good or even halfway decent player. I am hoping that after the lessons I will have a good foundation, and will be a moderately good rhythm guitarist (at least for singing songs to my wife and son). :)
