Kite Killers

We went to the park today to fly kites and play frisbee. We had about 5 kites in total between all of us, but we lost two to the fates. The first kite, a box kite, lost one of the cross bars, and dropped into the tennis courts about 150 yards away from us. This seems like a small deal, but the tennis courts were locked, and no one at the park had the key. I was hoping some tennis players would eventually show up, and unlock the gate, but they never did.

The second kite broke a string while it was max altitude. It was lost forever.

No big deal since the kites were only about $10 a piece.

As an interesting side note I did get a small shiner from the frisbee. :)
