Constant Riddle

Many people are familiar with the riddle of a farmer who has to transport a bushel of grain, a goose, and a dog across a river. The challenge is that the boat can only carry the farmer, and one other item. Additionally if the farmer leaves the goose alone with the grain, the goose will eat the grain, and if the farmer leaves the dog alone with the goose the dog will eat the goose.

Having a 70 lbs. german shepard and a newborn is like constantly solving that riddle. Of course our dog has made no indications that she would harm our baby, but responsible parents/pet owners do not leave dogs and children together unattended.
